After graduating from Beavercreek High School, Cyndi attended Ohio State University & Wright State University. She completed her undergraduate work, receiving a BS in Medical Technology.
During her twenty-year career as a medical professional, Cyndi specialized in the areas of microbiology and virology at several hospitals in the Miami Valley, Columbus, Ohio, and Kansas City. Cyndi has worked at The Children's Medical Center of Dayton, Grant Medical Center, Children's Mercy Hospital, Research Medical Center, and Kettering Memorial Hospital.
"After a rewarding career in the laboratory field, I realized that I missed working directly with people, Cyndi stated. When I decided to pursue real estate as a profession, I knew that I had made the right decision. I love working with people to help them pursue and realize their dreams. When I help someone through a difficult situation or see them step into the home of their dreams, I feel so blessed that I had the opportunity to facilitate this."
Cyndi earned her Ohio real estate license in 2005 and began her real estate career at Real Living Real Estate Services. In 2006, Cyndi was awarded the designation of Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) REALTOR. She successfully completed a detailed course and examination on preparing homes for sale. Homes that are staged, or prepared for sale by an ASP REALTOR, look better than other homes on the market and are ready to show the home’s strengths to prospective buyers. The ASP designation is a benchmark of true excellence in customer service for home sellers and Cyndi is excited to offer this service to our clients. In 2007, Cyndi and her husband joined the RE/MAX Victory office in Beavercreek, Ohio, at the Greene Town Center, where they were top-performing agents. Cyndi also earned her Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation, which recognizes her expertise in serving the real estate needs of her home-buying clients. She has also earned recognition as a Relocation Buyer Representative. Cyndi is also a BOLD graduate.
In 2017, the Shurts Realty Team moved to Keller Williams Realty, where they are able to offer stronger service and advanced tools to enhance the buyer and seller experience.
In her free time, Cyndi likes to read, sew, quilt, garden and enjoys learning how to do new crafts. She also has a passion for horses and loves to ride her horse "Phoenix." She would love to help you find your own southern Ohio horse property!

Raised in Dayton, Ohio, by caring, hard-working parents, Don learned from them many of the skills that have brought him success and satisfaction during his career of service in the Miami Valley. Don's father was a small business owner in Dayton and a professional archer for all of Don's childhood.

After Don completed his undergraduate work in Missouri, he moved back to the Dayton area, where he has been in pastoral leadership for 28 years. During his ministry tenure, he made the acquaintance of thousands of wonderful Miami Valley residents. Don's leadership skills are evident in real estate. In 2008, Don received the RE/MAX 100 Percent Club Award. In 2006, Don received the National Rising Star Award during Real Living's annual meeting in Orlando, Florida. He was one of the ten agents among Real Living's 4000 agents to be recognized for his excellence in client service and business growth. Don also received the company's Bronze Sales Award and Brass Sales Award for his sales production. In 2015 & 2016, Don was the recipient of the RE/MAX Platinum Club Award.
Since moving to Keller Williams in 2017, Don has received multiple top team awards and serves on the KW Market Center's ALC (Agent Leadership Council).
To utilize technology to provide consumers with state-of-the-art services, Don earned the National Association of REALTORS e-PRO designation. This elite group of e-PRO-certified real estate professionals represents only one percent of all REALTORS in the country and are trained to provide high-quality and innovative online-based real estate services.

In his free time, Don enjoys playing golf, traveling, shooting archery, working with his backyard pond and koi, and spending time with his family. Don and Cyndi were married in 1993 and had two boys, Daniel and Benjamin.
The Shurts family lived in Dayton proper for the first several years of their married life. Then spent 16 years raising their children in Beavercreek, Ohio. They currently live in Bath Township, between Yellow Springs & Fairborn with their sons, 2 collies, 5 goats, 2 horses, 25 koi, and their Yorkie, who is the house boss.
