Basements are usually lower on the priority list of "wants" in the home, but it made the list! Kitchens are probably the most important desired feature of a house. Then a family room or great room comes in a close second place. People spend more time in the kitchen and family room than other places in the home, at least while they are awake! That's why bedrooms are probably the third most important feature of Dayton real estate.
