
Twenty miles southeast of Central Dayton lies the charming town of Bellbrook, Ohio. With just over 7300 residents, this is where Erma Bombeck (a writer), Jonathan Winters (an actor and comedian), and Austin Spitler (of the NFL) are from.

The Sugarcreek Education Center is for early childhood education.
The University of Dayton is an easy 20-minute commute from Bellbrook. Half the students at this school hail from Dayton and can study Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Health Sciences, and Engineering.

Outdoor Recreation
Rent canoes or tubes at Bellbrook Canoe Rental and paddle down the Little Miami River - you'll eventually end up in the mighty Ohio River. Fly fishing is also popular on the Little Miami River.
There are several parks in the city limits of Bellbrook.
- Washington Mill Park has 35 acres of open space for lacrosse and soccer games and picnics under the shelter.
- Ron Kehl Park has a playground, nature trail, basketball courts, baseball fields, walking paths, and picnic area.
- Sackett-Wright Park borders the south side of Bellbrook. There are athletic fields, two picnic shelters, a concession stand, and drinking fountains on 54 acres of land.
- Bellbrook Park is in the center of town. The one-and-a-half-acre park is near downtown and is where festivals and social gatherings are held. There is a gazebo, water fountain, picnic tables, and a meandering stream.
- For a more woodsy experience, head to Morris Reserve. This piece of land was recently added to the park system and has woodlands, prairies, and meadows. A trail system is being developed.
Bellbrook Golf Park Driving Range has 21 tees, two putting greens, and a driving range where you can perfect your golf swing.
Sugarcreek MetroPark is on the southern border of Bellbrook. This 618-acre park has grass prairies, woodlands, and Sugar Creek. Check out the 550-year-old oak trees and 200-year-old beech trees. Sycamore trees line the bank of the creek. Try and pot wildlife on a vast array of hiking trails. Hike the Osage Orange Tunnel (trees were planted in rows, and the branches arch over the trail) at sundown and try to spot a barred owl.

The Blue Berry Cafe is a local favorite for breakfast and lunch. In addition to your meal favorites, they have weekly specials.
McIntosh Pub and Grub is a family-friendly sports bar that serves chicken wings, burgers, fries, pizza, and cheese sticks.
Third Season is a newer restaurant offering baby back ribs, burgers, pasta, paninis, red beans, and rice. They boast locally sourced ingredients.
Dots Market is a perfect option for your weekly groceries. Family-owned since 1951, this favorite Dayton area grocery is known for its excellent meat department, which will custom-cut steaks, chops, or chicken. They also deliver groceries to your door and offer curbside pickup, saving you precious time.
Whenever your donut craving hits, take a short drive to Bill's Donut Shop; they are open 24 hours a day! Since the 1960s, the Elam family has been making donuts, danishes, cupcakes, and cookies. Grab a cup of cappuccino as well.

History and Charm
The Bellbrook Historical Museum is excellent for exploring the area's history. It's located in historic downtown Bellbrook across from Bellbrook Park. The Bellbrook Historical Society is very active in keeping the area’s 200-year-old history alive.
The Downtown area has restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. For the past several years, city leadership has put a lot of effort into revitalizing the area.
The small-town appeal is evident in two local festivals each year - the Sugar Maple Festival and the Lions Club Festival. The Bellbrook Farmer’s Market and Brook Mills 10K race also brings the community together.
