The Greater Dayton Spring Mini Trial and Combined Test Show hosted by The MVEA

This special event, which begins at 8:00 am on Saturday, May 18, 2019 will be held at Twin Towers Horse Park, located at 501 Yellow Springs Fairfield Rd in Bath Township, Ohio.  The show is part of the MVEA Mini Trial series. This will be a more casual show, perfect for less experienced riders and horses on up to more serious competitors, with training level, novice level, and on down to greener than grass level.  This show will also serve as a fundraiser for the Twin Towers Horse Park. If you have never been to a horse show where there is cross country jumping, stadium jumping, and dressage, this would be a great event to attend.

The Miami Valley Equestrian Association was formed to support the sport of eventing here in the Dayton Ohio region and also to take care of the Twin Towers Horse Park.  

 

The park, located in Greene County in Bath Township between Fairborn and Yellow Springs, is part of the Greene County Parks and Recreation and is free for the public to use and enjoy.  Nowhere else in the area will you find a park with 102 acres, permanent jump course, 2 dressage arenas, outdoor show ring, and barn with stalls with access like this. MVEA has made it their project to repair the course jumps, build new jumps, and recently raised funds for the dressage arenas, adding 2 inches of additional footing material. This will be easier to keep in well groomed condition for shows as well as being safer for the horses.
