Most people will want a larger home with multiple bedrooms when they have a growing family and need several bedrooms. We know from personal experience how quickly those child-rearing years pass by! Before you know it, children graduate from high school and are off to college or start families of their own! That leaves a big home full of memories, but somewhat empty feeling! Some homeowners decide to downsize shortly after they become empty nesters, yet other owners enjoy their home for many years until the maintenance becomes less enjoyable than it used to be becoming more of a burden for the homeowner.
We are honored to say that many families have trusted the Shurts' to guide empty nesters or senior-citizens sell the home that means so much to the current owners. We walk with owners (and often their families) as trusted-advisors and gentle encouragers, to make the home-selling transition smooth and as enjoyable as possible.
That's what occurred with this beautiful Beavercreek home. Parents built the house some 48 years ago for their growing family. Kids grew up and eventually moved out and began their own families. One parent passed away, leaving the other in the home. That aging parent stayed in and loved the home for many more years, until the owner and their grown children agreed it was the right time for their loved one to make a change.
We were so honored to help this family! We enjoyed every minute of our time with this very sharp and wonderful owner!
