This year’s concert, appropriately titled “Christmas Time Is Here,” marks the 60th anniversary of the first television airing of A Charlie Brown Christmas—a holiday classic that has shaped generations with its heartfelt message and unforgettable music.
The Fairborn Civic Band will delight audiences with selections from Vince Guaraldi’s iconic A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack, instantly transporting listeners back to cherished holiday memories. Additional highlights include Patrick Glenn Harper’s stirring “Fantasy on O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,” a beautiful and reflective piece, as well as “So Wondrous Bright” by Carol Brittin Chambers, inspired by a traditional Puerto Rican Christmas carol and filled with warmth and cultural richness.
