Pond lovers and landscape hobbyist will love this annual event being held for the first time at the Greene County Expo Center in Xenia, Ohio! The Dayton Koi and Goldfish Show is produced by the combined efforts of the Dayton Koi Club and the Goldfish Council. Local Japanese Koi and Goldfish collectors and hobbyist bring a few of their best fish to the show for the public to see and to be judged by certified judges. The competition will be held on Saturday, June 8th. Lectures and a Koi Auction will be conducted on Sunday, June 9th!
In past years the Dayton Koi Show was held at the Green Vista Water Gardens in Enon and Bern's Garden Center in Beavercreek, Ohio. Each year the show has grown in size and has needed more space. The Greene County Expo Center was selected as the new location. This years event is being held along the Greene County Traders Jamboree which is a craft and collectibles show also being held during the same time!
This show attracts fish owners from as far as Loiusville, KY. Koi Vendors from as far as Chicago and New Jersey will bring fish from around the world to be sold at the show! They will also have supplies and equipment utilized by hobbyist! Raffles and other prizes will also be awarded during the 2 day event.
