$100 million dollar mixed use development is coming to the community of Huber Heights and is expected to open in summer of 2018. The development is being planned on 70 acres across from the Rose Music Center at I70 and State Route 201. Plans have been made for the development to house retail stores (with the possibility of being anchored by Dick's Sporting Goods) as well as offices, hospitality and possible residential space.
The Rose Music Center, which opened in 2015, was built to encourage the development of the area. The Rose Music Center came at a cost of $19.3 million.
Beyond all the recent and upcoming development in Huber Heights, the community is close to WPAFB and is an easy commute to the northern communities of the Miami Valley such as Tipp City and Troy.
