I hold a B.A. from Cedarville University and M. Ed. from the University of Dayton. Formerly a teacher, my eye for design, attention to detail, and vision for pulling together creative possibilities resulted in steady requests from those with re-design needs. This led to the start-up of R Smith Interiors in 2013, specializing in consulting, styling, and shopping for interior spaces. I added a staging consultation service in 2014 for those preparing to sell their home. In 2017, the Shurts Realty team selected me as their exclusive consultant for home staging. I consult for both homeowners and business owners and have guided extreme make-overs within several departments at Cedarville University, in Greene County, Ohio.

As a staging consultant, I share specific recommendations to prepare your house for real estate showings. While we walk through your home together, I provide a professional, objective perspective to equip you with an immediate comprehensive plan of action. We will discuss appropriate color choices to attract today's buyers. Recommendations will be given regarding what pieces should stay, what should go, and what is needed to create a welcoming appearance. Shopping assistance is available as needed.
