Beavercreek Information ...
 | | | Beavercreek is a short drive to most parts of the Miami Valley, including Wright Patterson Air Force Base. | |
Beavercreek Ohio is the located in Greene County and is a wonderful place to call home! As Beavercreek Realtors and residents, Don & Cyndi Shurts are always thrilled to introduce Cyndi's hometown to those relocating to the Dayton area. In 2007, MONEY MAGAZINE selected Beavercreek as one of the Top 100 Best Places To Live In America! With a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Dayton and a 5-10 minute drive to Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Beavercreek real estate is often selected as the community to purchase a new home solely on its convenient location. Because the city is served by two major highways (I-675 and US Route 35) Beavercreek homes provide a commute of less than 30 minutes to most parts of the Dayton area. The Beavercreek Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is divided into two areas, North of Rt. 35 and South of Rt. 35. Home buyers really don't need to worry about that division when searching for homes online unless a couple minutes of drive time to work or shopping is critical. If so let your Beavercreek real estate agent know when they create a house hunting portal for you. We are happy to create a personalize house hunting portal for all our clients because this gives our first-time home buyers and repeat buyers an advantage over other buyers who are searching for homes online. Our computers will notify our clients via email of a new home coming on the market within minutes of it becoming "for sale." When considering Beavercreek realty, you should know that Beavercreek is one of only a few cities in the Miami Valley that does not have a city income tax. So if you work in another city besides Beavercreek or Bellbrook, you'll probably pay a personal income tax in that city. But if you work and live in Beavercreek or Bellbrook you'll pay no city income tax. | | | Many Beavercreek homes for sale offer beautiful, remodeled bathrooms. |

The Miami and Shawnee Indians prized this area along the Little and Big Beaver Creeks as prime hunting ground. Settlers in the late 1700’s found the abundant game, fertile land, and waterways ideal for establishing homesteads. The township was established in the early 1800’s and remained largely a rural community until more development began in the 1950’s as people began to choose to leave city life for the suburban lifestyle. In 1979, a part of the township was incorporated and Beavercreek became a city in February of 1980. It is the close proximity to the amenities of city life, yet the small town feel of Beavercreek that has attributed to its continued growth as a community with Greene County. Working With An Agent >Target Marketing
As soon as the listing agreement is signed, your real estate agent will begin the search for a buyer for your home. This means directing agents marketing efforts to target groups of individuals who are likely to be attracted to the amenities offered by your home and neighborhood.
If your property is near a new office park, your real estate agent will look there for prospects who want to live near their work place. If it is an historic property, the local preservation society may have a publication in which to advertise. Your agent may call or write to the neighbors who may know someone who would be attracted to your home. When your home is being marketed professionally, your agent will do a lot more than just feed the listing into the MLS and place an occasional ad.
