Beavercreek is a short drive to most parts of the Miami Valley.

Beavercreek is a wonderful place to call home, and we are happy to take this opportunity to introduce you to the community so many enjoy!

MONEY MAGAZINE HAS SELECTED BEAVERCREEK AS ONE OF THE TOP 100 BEST PLACES TO LIVE IN AMERICA! The August 2007 issue has rated the city of Beavercreek #84 of the top 100!

Beavercreek is an area rich with history. The Miami and Shawnee Indians prized this area along the Little and Big Beaver Creeks as prime hunting ground. Settlers in the late 1700’s found the abundant game, fertile land, and waterways ideal for establishing homesteads. The township was established in the early 1800’s and remained largely a rural community until more development began in the 1950’s as people began to choose to leave city life for the suburban lifestyle. In 1979, a part of the township was incorporated and Beavercreek became a city in February of 1980. It is the close proximity to the amenities of city life, yet the small town feel of Beavercreek that has attributed to its continued growth as a community with Greene County.

Close to downtown Dayton, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, and local universities, Beavercreek is conveniently located in the western part of Greene County and is the largest city within the county. Situated at the intersection of major highways I-675 and US Route 35, it is an easy and short commute to any part of the city of Dayton.

The rolling, wooded terrain provides an attractive backdrop for the many residential neighborhoods in our community. Beavercreek is considered one of the most desirable and fastest growing suburbs with homes for all tastes and budgets. From charming, older neighborhoods to custom built homes, from mini-farms for horses to golf course communities, from starter homes to condos, Beavercreek has it all!

Beavercreek Business Center
Beavercreek offers many features to local businesses and residents.

Beavercreek offers you many delightful choices when it comes to shopping. The Mall at Fairfield Commons is one of the premier shopping malls in the Miami Valley featuring anchor stores Macy’s, JC Penney, Sears, Parisian, and Elder-Beerman, as well as 130 specialty shops, some of which are unique to this area. The Greene, which opened in August of 2006, features a pedestrian friendly, town square setting offering shopping, dining, and office space with street level store fronts and open green spaces. There are also many other shopping areas throughout Beavercreek, featuring unique specialty stores catering to a wide variety of interests.

Beavercreek is home to several large employers; research and manufacturing firms with diverse technologies such as aerospace, automotive, and electronics. One of the largest employers in the state of Ohio, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, is our neighbor to the north. Unison-Elano Corporation, Modern Technologies Corporation, and other defense industry contractors provide a high level of employment opportunities in the area.

A wide variety educational programs are available to Beavercreek residents. Both public and private schools, including Christian Schools and Catholic schools, are available in the area. There are also many colleges and universities close by, including the University of Dayton, Wright State University, Central State University, Cedarville University, Wilberforce University, and Sinclair Community College

Bergamo Center
Bergamo Center is a religious based center that offers spiritual excapes and community events for local church and businessess.

There’s no limit to the fun you can have in the Beavercreek area! Numerous parks are located throughout the city and township, offering recreational opportunities such as organized sports for children and adults, bike trails which connect the cities of Dayton, Beavercreek, and Xenia, and hiking. The Narrows Reserve and Nature Center on Indian Ripple Road is a 162 acre park that offers 4.2 miles of hiking trails that wind through meadows, woodlands, and steep ravines along the Little Miami River. The Beavercreek Wetlands is accessed through Phillips Park on Dayton-Xenia Road and is a 77 acre park containing marshlands, forested swamps, and fens, which is low land covered with water. The Dominic Lofino Park on Grange Hall Road features picnic shelters, hiking trails, playground equipment, tennis courts and a skate park. Probably the most used trail is the Creekside Trail, which is 10.6 miles of former railroad bed turned into a bike path. This paved trail is well shaded by trees and relatively flat, making it a great choice for bikers, joggers, and skaters. The Ankeney Soccer Complex on Orchard Lane is a popular sports facility with many soccer fields of varying sizes. E.J. Nutter Park is home to the Beavercreek Community Athletic Association and features five youth baseball diamonds, picnic facilities, playground, and access to the wetland preserve. Rotary Park on Dayton-Xenia Road is a large sports park featuring two baseball diamonds, four T-ball diamonds, eight softball diamonds, soccer fields, volleyball courts, picnic shelter, and playground.

If you are a golf enthusiast, look no further. Beavercreek features two challenging courses. The Beavercreek Golf Club is a public course, designed by Fuzzy Zoeller, featuring 18 holes, par 72, with medium sized fairways with rolling, contoured hills and greens that are large, fast, and tiered. The Country Club of the North is a private course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. The course features some tree lined fairways, fast greens, deep sand bunkers, and eight holes with water hazards. If golf course living is your dream, the Country Club of the North is the place to call home with luxurious, custom built homes and spectacular views.

There is always something to do in the Miami Valley. During the winter, root for the local hockey team, the Bombers, at the Nutter Center. In the spring and summer, take in a Dayton Dragons baseball game at Fifth Third Field. Patrons of the arts will love the Schuster Performing Arts Center, which hosts a wide variety of concerts, plays, and dance performances. Spend an afternoon exploring the Dayton Art Institute, take a walk along River Scape, do some shopping at the Second Street Market, or take in the history of flight at the Air Force Museum. There is truly something for everyone in the Miami Valley! Let us help you get acquainted with Beavercreek and the Miami Valley.

The Welcome Home Team reside in Beavercreek! We enjoy working and playing in this great community. We are honored to have had the opportunity to work with many military families who have been assigned to Wright Patterson Air Force Base! We understand the challenge of relocation! Real Estate Tips
Selling Your Home >Why Is It Not Selling

If you are selling your home and it has been on the market for several months, you might start to wonder why it just isn't moving. How can you introduce some extra energy into the sale?

The first thing you should do is have a frank talk with your real estate agent in order to get feedback from prospective buyers who have seen your home, and other agents who have shown it. Does your home look its best? Is it accessible for agents to show on short notice? Is the price in line with the rest of the market? Do you need to consider neutralizing any strong decorating features that may not have wide appeal?

Getting your home sold is a collaborative effort between you and your real estate agent. It is important for your agent to market your property aggressively, but you must do your part to ensure that buyers see a home that is as appealing as it can be. Ask your agent for any new ideas that will create results.
